CHAPTER A

END-TIME DECEPTION AND FALSE SIGNS AND WONDERS

1. DECEPTION AS THE PRIMARY END-TIME THREAT

When Jesus was asked about the sign of His coming, His first warning was not about wars or famine, but deception.

“Take heed that no one deceives you.” (Matthew 24:4)

This shows that deception is not a secondary danger, but the central spiritual threat of the last days.

2. MIRACLES DO NOT ALWAYS CONFIRM DIVINE APPROVAL

2.1. Signs Can Come from False Sources

Scripture clearly teaches that supernatural power is not proof of divine authority.

“False christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” (Matthew 24:24)

Therefore:

  1. Signs can be real

  2. Power can be present

  3. Yet the source can be deceptive

2.2. The Antichrist System Will Operate Supernaturally

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders.” (2 Thessalonians 2:9)

These wonders are called “lying” not because they are fake, but because they lead people into lies about truth, Christ, and salvation.

3. WHY PEOPLE WILL BE DECEIVED

3.1. Love of Power Without Love of Truth

“They did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (2 Thessalonians 2:10)

Many will pursue:

  1. Experiences over obedience

  2. Power over purity

  3. Manifestations over maturity

This creates spiritual vulnerability.

3.2. Emotional Christianity Without Discernment

Where the Word is weak, experiences become the measure of truth.
But Scripture teaches:

“Test the spirits, whether they are of God.” (1 John 4:1)

Discernment is not suspicion; it is spiritual responsibility.

4. TRUE SIGNS OF GOD’S KINGDOM

Jesus defined true spiritual fruit as:

  1. Repentance

  2. Holiness

  3. Love

  4. Endurance in persecution

Miracles may accompany the Gospel, but they never replace transformation of life.

“You will know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:16)

5. HOW BELIEVERS REMAIN PROTECTED

Protection from deception comes through:

  1. Deep grounding in Scripture

  2. Intimate relationship with Christ

  3. Accountability in the Body of Christ

  4. Love for truth more than excitement

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them.” (John 10:27)

CHAPTER B

THE ROLE OF ANGELS IN THE LAST DAYS

1. ANGELS AS MINISTERING SPIRITS

Scripture defines angels as:

“Ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation.” (Hebrews 1:14)

Angels serve God’s purposes in relation to:

  1. Protection

  2. Guidance

  3. Judgment

  4. Spiritual warfare

They are not independent actors, but agents of divine command.

2. ANGELIC ACTIVITY IN END-TIME EVENTS

The book of Revelation reveals angels involved in:

  1. Sounding trumpets

  2. Pouring out judgments

  3. Protecting God’s servants

  4. Announcing prophetic events

Thus, angels are actively executing God’s final redemptive plan.

3. ANGELS AND THE GATHERING OF THE ELECT

Jesus said:

“He will send His angels… and they will gather together His elect.” (Matthew 24:31)

Angels will participate in:

  1. The regathering of believers

  2. Separation of righteous and wicked

  3. Execution of final judgments

4. PASTORAL WARNINGS ABOUT ANGELIC TEACHINGS

4.1. Angels Must Never Replace Christ

Paul warns:

“Even if an angel from heaven preaches another gospel… let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8)

No angelic encounter can override:

  • Scripture

  • The Gospel

  • The Lordship of Christ

4.2. No Worship of Angels

“Let no one cheat you… delighting in false humility and worship of angels.” (Colossians 2:18)

Angels do not seek attention; they redirect glory to God.

5. THE CHURCH’S RELATIONSHIP TO ANGELS

Believers are not commanded to:

  • Pray to angels

  • Command angels

  • Seek angelic encounters

Angels respond to God’s word and assignments, not human fascination.

Our focus remains on Christ alone.

CHAPTER C

KINGDOM THEOLOGY VS DOMINIONISM

1. WHAT IS KINGDOM THEOLOGY (BIBLICAL VIEW)

Kingdom theology teaches that:

  1. Jesus is King now

  2. His reign is present spiritually

  3. His Kingdom advances through the Gospel

  4. Full political and cosmic rule comes at His return

“My kingdom is not of this world.” (John 18:36)

The Kingdom grows primarily by:

  • Regeneration of hearts

  • Discipleship

  • Obedient faith

2. WHAT IS DOMINIONISM

Dominionism teaches that:

  1. The Church must control governments

  2. Christians must rule political systems before Christ returns

  3. The Kingdom comes through human authority

This view shifts focus from:

  • The Cross → to power

  • Salvation → to control

  • Discipleship → to political takeover

3. WHY DOMINIONISM IS THEOLOGICALLY DANGEROUS

3.1. It Confuses the Church’s Mission

Jesus commissioned the Church to:

“Make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19)

Not to govern nations politically.

3.2. It Can Produce Spiritual Pride and Coercion

History shows that when religion seeks political dominance:

  1. Liberty is threatened

  2. Faith becomes forced

  3. Corruption increases

The Kingdom of God advances by transformation, not coercion.

4. THE FUTURE KINGDOM IS CHRIST’S, NOT OURS

Scripture is clear:

“The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ.” (Revelation 11:15)

This transfer occurs at Christ’s return, not by human political strategy.

Believers reign with Christ, not instead of Christ.

5. BALANCED ENGAGEMENT IN SOCIETY

Biblical Christianity supports:

  1. Civic responsibility

  2. Moral influence

  3. Justice and compassion

But rejects:

  • Political messianism

  • Religious authoritarianism

  • The belief that salvation comes through policy

The Gospel changes culture from the inside out.

FINAL PASTORAL EXHORTATION

In the last days:

  • Power will increase

  • Angels will move

  • Deception will intensify

  • Political systems will shake

But the Church must remain anchored in:

  1. Christ alone

  2. Scripture alone

  3. Grace alone

Not chasing manifestations.
Not seeking control.
Not fearing darkness.

But proclaiming salvation, holiness, and hope.

“Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” (Revelation 22:20)..
